I'm so glad that some of my favourite chicklit authors are standing up to be counted on this one. I see nothing wrong with the term chicklit because actually it covers a whole host of authors, themes, topics and characters. Some of it IS light, fluffy and fun but even more of it is fun, heartwarming and deals with difficult themes in a digestible way. We can't all write War and Peace after all and the whole Polly Courtney saga felt like biting the hand that feeds you!

If my book ever gets published then you bet your bum I'll be shouting from the rooftops about being a chicklit author.

waits for the moment you'll proudly change your website header in "uk's funniest chicklit writer"
There's nothing that, like you said, gives me the warming feeling of reading a lovely chicklit.
I will always proudly strut the streets with a book in my hands that has an eye catching, inviting cover.
